Thriving Amidst Achievements

What a surreal and exhilarating year it has been for us! The journey kicked off with the exciting opportunity to feature on BBC Gardeners World ahead of our local RHS Malvern Spring Show. The experience was nothing short of fantastic as a dedicated team of four filmed our nursery. Our display at Malvern resulted in a Gold, and seeing our story unfold in an 8-minute BBC feature truly was a surreal moment.

The momentum didn't stop there – with Chelsea just around the corner (only four days later) we worked tirelessly, fulfilling orders and maintaining our commitment to prompt deliveries. Despite the hectic schedule, we approached our second RHS Chelsea Flower Show with newfound ease. The sunshine was upon us as we assembled and created our display. A significant milestone for us it was with us winning our first ever RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal.

Post-Chelsea, the year became a whirlwind of activity. Despite the blur, we found moments for sleep, propagating and nurturing our herbs, packing orders attending more food festivals and more shows where we proudly achieved additional Gold Medals. We also managed to slip in a short family break in the summer, something we have never done before and enlisted some reliable help to keep the nursery going to our standards whilst we were away.  

Malvern Autumn saw us revisiting our roots with a throwback to our first-ever Malvern Show. Our decision to showcase fabulous specimens in terracotta pots was met with success.  Keep an eye out, as you may be seeing more of these terracotta grown specimen herbs at future events.

We have definitely set the bar high and still maintained our high quality herb growing standards for our online orders. As we reflect on the incredible journey of 2023, we look forward to what 2024 holds for us in the world of online herb sales and show sales.
